Gilliam's Replat 3 (2005)

Named for Terry Gilliam, of course. When I think back on my wasted youth (which would be anything and everything that happened earlier than six months ago), those mad animated interludes on Monty Python probably planted the seeds for all this. Possibly it was the first place in which I saw collage used by somebody other than my peers in the drink-your-milk-and-lie-down-for-a-nap set.

As for "Addition" and "Replat:" If you're a homeowner with your deed handy, look at the legal description of your land. Chances are good that it has a name like "Oak Park Addition, Block 1 Lot 12" or "Linda's Replat, Block 9 Lot 4."

I stared at such descriptions more or less all day long during my 5.5 years working for the County as a bureaucrat. Now those years will live on in infamy, along with the scars I got from my bout with the shingles while working there. Shingles are ugly and hurt like hell. Also, healthy people in their late Thirties are not supposed to get shingles. If you do get them then, you are a severely stressed and deeply unhappy individual;One who desperately needs to be somewhere other than wherever you are currently living/working/romancing. Now you know a primary reason why I'm not bureaucratting in public any more.
